You can block Members App and Landing Page logins for members when there are extenuating circumstances

This feature is intended for use to block Members App and Landing Page logins for members when there are extenuating circumstances. Example: Someone is harassing or stalking other members, a member is asked to leave the gym and not come back, and other severe examples.

When should I use the Blocked feature on a member?

Use the Blocked feature to prevent members from accessing the Members App and Landing Pages in serious situations, such as harassment, stalking, or if a member has been banned from the gym.

If you only want to restrict ex-members from accessing your workout programming or social feed:

I accidentally blocked someone. What do I do?

Go to the member's profile in Core and switch the “Blocked?” toggle to “No.” This will restore their access to the Members App and Landing Pages.

How quickly does this go into effect?

If the user has their Members App open when this occurs, it will kick them out within 30 minutes. if their Members App remains open that entire time

If the user does not have their Members App open when this toggle is adjusted, then it will occur the next time they open the app.

Does a member have to log out of the Members App and then log back in to effectively be blocked?

No, a member does not need to log out of the Members App in order for the block to take effect.

Will a blocked member for one gym impact other gyms the member is associated with?

No, a member who has been blocked from a particular gym can still log in to Members App for another gym (if they are not blocked on that other gym).

Set Up

  1. Login to your Core Dashboard.

  2. Find the user’s profile, either by selecting People > Members or Leads, or by selecting the Search icon and searching the user’s name

  3. When on their Member Profile, select “Edit Personal Info”

  4. Scroll down to “Access” section

  5. Select the “Blocked” toggle to change to “Yes”
