Program visibility for daily programs and templates determines how members and clients access workouts. Train offers three visibility settings:

  • Plan Access (Most Common): Uses member plans from Core to control access to daily programs.

  • Private: Requires manual addition of the workout program to a member’s account for visibility in their app.

  • Public: Makes the workout accessible to anyone with access to your member app.

    • Also required for publishing workouts to your website using the Train widget.

Setting Program Access Based on the Member's Plan

On a New Daily Program or Template

  • Navigate to Program Management: Go to Coaching > Daily Program (or Templates) and select Manage Daily Programs (or Manage Templates).

  • Create a New Program: Click +Create Program if creating a new program.

  • Name the Program: Enter a clear and descriptive name for the program.

  • Set Plan Access: Select Plan Access as the visibility setting.

  • In the Plan dropdown:

    • Greyed-out plans: Indicate plans that already have access.

    • To add access, select additional plans from the list.

    • To remove access, deselect the greyed-out plans.

  • Save to Confirm: Click Save to apply changes and confirm program visibility settings.

Managing Plan Access on Existing Programs

  • Navigate to Program Management: Go to Coaching > Daily Program and select Manage Daily Programs.

  • Click the Manage Plan Access Button: Locate and click Manage Plan Access to adjust program visibility settings.

  • Select the Plan: Choose the desired plan from the dropdown menu.

  • Make Changes: Update the access settings as needed.

    • Note: If a program is not visible, its visibility setting is either Private or Public, not Plan Access.

  • Save Changes: Click Save for each plan you modify to confirm the updates.

  • If troubleshooting why a program isn’t visible, verify it is saved and published in Train.

  • Ensure that the member’s Core account is linked correctly to their Train account.

  • Programs need to have the visibility set to "Plan Access" for them to appear directly to members.

Updating Program Visibility

  • Locate the Program or Template: In the Coaching > Daily Program or Templates section, find the program you want to update.

  • Access Visibility Settings: Click the three dots next to the program and select Update Visibility.

  • Select New Visibility Settings: Choose the desired visibility: Plan Access, Private, or Public.

  • Confirm the Change: Save to apply the new settings.

Setting Private Visibility and Adding to a Member

  • Locate the Program or Template: In the Coaching > Daily Program or Templates section, find the program you want to update.

  • Access Visibility Settings: Click the three dots next to the program and select Update Visibility.

  • Select New Visibility Settings: Choose Private.

  • Confirm the Change: Save to apply the new settings.

  • Program will be set to Private

Why Do Admins See All Programs?

In PushPress Train, admin accounts can view all available programs, including disabled ones, for oversight purposes. Regular user accounts are limited to active and assigned programs.

How to Assign a Private Program to a Member in Train

  • Go to People > Clients in Train.

  • Search for the member’s name and select their profile.

  • From the horizontal menu at the top of their profile, click Private Programs.

  • Click the Red + button to add a new private program.

  • Choose the desired program from the list and assign it to the member.

  • If the assigned program still doesn’t appear, ensure the program’s visibility in Train is not set to Private unless specifically configured for individual assignment.

Troubleshooting Common Access Issues

Why Can’t Members See a Daily Program?

If a program exists in Core but doesn’t appear in Train for clients, try the following steps:

  1. Correct Train Account: Ensure the right Train account is linked to the Core account, as different accounts will not sync data.

  2. Published Programs: Check that the program is saved and published in Train.

  3. Visibility Settings: Set the program visibility to Plan Access, as other settings like Private or Public may impact visibility for specific members.

Why Can’t I See Published Workouts?

Some reasons programs may not appear include:

  • Programs were not saved or published correctly.

  • The visibility is set to Private, which restricts access to assigned profiles only. Verify individual permissions via Manage Plan Access.

  • Browser cache issues – clear cookies/cache and try again.

  • Class licenses may need reassignment if transitioning to a paid plan from a trial.
