Tracking member churn is essential in Core by PushPress because it provides insight into client retention and the overall health of your business. Understanding when and why members leave helps identify trends, improve services, and implement strategies to boost retention. Moreover, tracking churn contributes to a holistic understanding of business analytics by providing data that influences lead management, conversion tracking, and lifetime value assessments.
Viewing & Exporting Churned Members
Log In to your PushPress Core Dashboard with admin credentials
Navigate to People: From the dashboard, select the “People” section from the navigation menu.
Apply Filter for Churn:
On the right-hand side, click the filter icon.
Choose a Churn Date Range to reflect the timeframe you’re interested in.
The list will update to show only the members who have churned in that range.
Export the Data: Once the list is filtered, you can export the results.
Click the “Export to CSV” button to download the churned member list.
Advanced Churn Analysis
To expand your understanding of churn trends, utilize the People Metrics Report for detailed views of churn behavior and the Pro Metrics Report to link member churn with financial impacts. Additionally, take advantage of the Churn Filters in membership reports to focus on specific time ranges or member types for a more granular view. To further analyze churn, you can calculate the churn rate manually using the formula: (Churn Rate = \frac{\text{Number of Customers Lost in a Period}}{\text{Total Customers at Start of Period}} \times 100).
