To determine key metrics such as attendance milestones, member engagement, and potential member churn based on lack of attendance, you can easily view and manage a member's check-in history from your Core dashboard. Here's how to access and understand a member's attendance history:

Where to View a Member's Attendance History:

  • From the Core Dashboard:

    • Click on People and then Members to view your list of members with active subscriptions or plans.

    • Alternatively, use the search bar to quickly find a specific member by name.

  • Access the Attendance History:

    • Go to the member’s profile.

    • Click the three dots next to the member’s plan and select "View Attendance History".

Components of the Attendance History Report:

Date Range Configurator:

  • The default date range is set to the previous 90 days.

  • You can customize the date range as needed, including selecting the "Future" option to view the member's upcoming reservations.

Filter Options:

  • Use filters to configure the report based on check-in status (e.g., checked in, late cancel, waitlist).

  • You can also identify which plan each check-in is linked to for more detailed insights.

  • Note that coach check-ins do not appear in certain reports, such as the Overview or Class Attendance reports. They are only included in the All Time Attendance report.

Export Attendance:

  • You have the option to export the attendance report to a CSV file.

  • This is particularly useful for members who need to report attendance for work requirements or health insurance benefits.

  • When exporting or uploading attendance data via CSV, ensure that all members are properly set up in the system first to avoid discrepancies.

By regularly monitoring this data, you can better understand member engagement, spot trends, and address potential churn risks early. If you notice discrepancies in attendance tracking or check-in counts, consider the following common causes and solutions: Common Causes of Attendance Discrepancies:

  • Outdated Reports: Sometimes reports may not reflect the most recent check-ins.

  • Report Type Differences: Different report types include different data (e.g., coach check-ins appear in All Time Attendance but not in Overview or Class Attendance reports).

  • Incomplete Data: Missing or incorrectly entered attendance data can lead to discrepancies. Resolving Check-In Discrepancies:

  • Verify the report type: Make sure you're viewing the appropriate report for your needs.

  • Check Plan Info: To view accurate check-in counts for a plan, navigate to the 'Plan Info' section in the plan menu.

  • Review configurations: Understand which data is included or excluded from each report type.

  • Update attendance data: If needed, upload or update historical attendance data to ensure accuracy.
