Overview
Specialty plans cover situations that don't fit a standard recurring membership — a 6-week challenge, a yearly facility fee, a foundations program. This article walks through two common setups with step-by-step instructions and links to more advanced plan types.

Where: Control Panel → Plans → + Plan

Setup 1: Fitness or New Member Challenge
A time-limited program with a defined start and end — 6-week transformation challenge, foundations course, summer camp, etc. Non-recurring, sold online with a landing page.
Go to Plans → Plans and click + Plan.
Select Non-Recurring as the plan type.
Fill in the basics:
Plan Name — e.g., "6-Week Transformation Challenge"
Client Status — typically Lead (if targeting new prospects) or Member (if for existing members)
Plan Category — assign to a relevant category for tracking and reporting
Configure billing:
Price — set the challenge fee
Plan Expiration — set to expire after the program length (e.g., 6 weeks)
Setup Fee — optional one-time fee in addition to the price
Set class access:
Choose which class types participants can attend
Toggle Open Gym on or off as applicable
Set an attendance limit if you want to cap weekly sessions (e.g., 3 classes per week)
Click Next and configure online sales:
Enable Staff App Kiosk and/or Website Plan List for where it can be purchased
Write a confirmation message with any next steps, links to resources, or welcome info
Add short and long descriptions for the landing page
Click Save.
Get the landing page link: Plans → three dots next to the plan → Landing Page. Share via social media, email, website, or QR code.
Setup 2: Annual Gym Maintenance Fee
A yearly charge for all members — covers equipment, facility upkeep, and operational costs. Industry standard and not tied to class access.
Go to Plans → Plans and click + Plan.
Select Recurring as the plan type.
Fill in the basics:
Plan Name — e.g., "Annual Maintenance Fee"
Client Status — Member
Configure billing:
Price — the annual fee amount
Recurring Interval — 1 Year(s)
Recurs Forever — toggle ON
Remove class access:
Set class types to No Classes
Deselect Open Gym
Disable online sales (this plan is added manually per member):
Deselect all options under Online Sales
Click Save.
Adding to members: Assign this plan manually to each member. The fee charges immediately on assignment and recurs annually on the same date each year.
Aligning to a single billing date: If you want all members to be charged on the same date (e.g., January 1st), set the Next Bill Date to that date when adding the plan to each member's profile.
Other Specialty Plan Types
Hybrid Plan - Combine appointment credits + class access in one monthly invoice
24/7 Access - HybridAF — 24 Hour Door Access
Troubleshooting
Annual fee charged immediately when I didn't expect it
Plans charge on assignment — this is by design. If the timing is wrong, issue a refund and reassign the plan on the correct date
Challenge plan isn't showing online for purchase
Confirm "Publish Sales Page" is toggled ON in the Online Sales section of the plan
Verify the plan has the correct display options selected (Kiosk and/or Website Plan List)
Members are attending more classes than their weekly limit
The attendance limit resets weekly from the plan start date, not from a fixed day of the week — check the limit setting and whether it's configured correctly
