Core | Migrating Appointment Sessions

Moving to PushPress and members have appointments credits? Let's be sure to get those on profile for the customers to use.

This video outlines the Migration Process for appointments and will answer any questions and provide step by step details to ensure success. Migrating Appointments is not part of the migration assistant. The migration assistant can assign plans for your group class calendar. Here we go!

Step 1 | Export your members and outstanding appointment credits owed

  • If you can't export, record a list of members and appointment credits that need to be assigned in PushPress.

  • Be sure to set up your appointment types prior to moving to Step 2. If you have not completed that step, please set up your appointments first. Here is more info on setting up Appointments.

Step 2 | Assigning credits

  • Select 'Appointments' from your PushPress dashboard

  • Select 'Add Credits'

  • Complete the following member information:

    • Client

    • Appointment Type

    • Custom

    • Add the number of transferring credits

    • Choose expiry

    • Type is $0 for price so they are FREE with no charge.

    • Select 'Add' from the top right to save

  • Now credits are on profile. Members can reserve appointments from the member app or staff can assign reservation times.

  • Repeat these steps for each member that has credits needed to be moved into PushPress.

Step 3 | Managing and Viewing Session Credits

After successfully migrating credits, it's crucial to understand how to view and manage session credits within the PushPress system. This section will guide you through the roles and steps for both administrators and clients in managing session credits effectively.

Viewing Session Credits as an Admin As an admin, you can quickly check the remaining credits for any member by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to the client’s profile.

  2. Look for the "Appointments & Credits" section on the right-hand side.

  3. This section will provide a breakdown of open credits (those not yet assigned to an appointment) and credits already used for booked appointments. Viewing Session Credits as a Client Clients can also view their session credits and appointment details using the branded PushPress app. Here’s how:

  4. Open the PushPress app and navigate to the Schedule section.

  5. Select the Appointments tab at the top.

  6. This section will display the available credits, allow clients to purchase appointment packages, and schedule appointments.

  7. Clients can also check upcoming appointments on the home screen under the Coming Up section in the center. Managing Excess Credit Carry-Over In cases where a customer's account accrues excess credit, the PushPress software carries over the remaining balance to the next billing month. For instance, if a $400 credit is applied to an account with a $250 monthly bill, the additional $150 will roll over to the following month.
