Train | Access Roles

This article will differentiate the roles between Owner, Manager, and Coach.

A quick summary of the differences between roles in staff members for Train by PushPress. In bold you will find the most important functions that are most utilized by staff members, coaches and gym owners!

1. Coach Roles

This is used for your coaches to view, edit, enter programming into Train. Coach access will provide the ability to see the workout and coaching tabs from the left hand menu. This will allow coaches the ability to view:

  • Today's Workout

  • Workout History

  • Clients

  • Gym Workout History

  • Media Library

  • Log Scores

  • Benchmark Categories

  • Scoring Divisions

  • Workout Builder

2. Manager Roles

This is used for Head Coach or GM positions. They have access to Coach level permissions and also the management tab on the left hand menu and utilize the following functions:

  • Today's Workout

  • Workout History

  • Clients

  • Gym Workout History

  • Media Library

  • Log Scores

  • Benchmark Categories

  • Scoring Divisions

  • Workout Builder

  • Coaches

  • Preferences

3. Owner Roles

This is your account holder and has full access to the Train account. Owner access will provide the ability to see the same tabs from the left hand menu as a manager. Owners have the same access as managers. There is only 1 owner for each Train account and it is assigned to the individual who creates the Train account.

4. Additional Information from Coaches tab:

Primary Contact - This can be set for individual coaches and will include them in any communications sent directly to your business. This includes a copy of all outgoing emails sent by the system. This and the Social Media toggles only apply to businesses that use Train exclusively without a PushPress Core account. For more details please contact support@pushpress.com.
