For open gym based facilities, you can use QR codes in the member app or barcode cards to check clients into open gym (class check in is not supported). NOTE: Using a scanner attached to a tablet is NOT recommended.

You'll need a USB QR code or barcode scanner. These are widely available and can be purchased for around $20. You can find a suitable scanner here.

In order for the barcode scanning feature to work, you will need to use plastic cards with sequential barcodes between 6 and 12 numbers. These codes must be numerical only. You can order custom barcode cards from a variety of vendors, such as Plastic Card Monster.

To enable open gym check-ins from your Core dashboard, follow these steps:

This will allow members to check in for open gym sessions via the barcode scanner.

With the barcode scanner installed on a stationary computer/laptop and your Core account open to the dashboard, members attending Open Gym will scan their card or QR Code (Member App) to check into Open Gym.

NOTE: The scanner option for check in does not support class check ins. This includes any Open Gym class types in your Core calendar. The check in uses Core's built in Open Gym for it's check in.
