You can now sell plans directly from your Staff App

We are excited to announce that we have introduced a new feature in the Staff App that allows you to sell plans directly! With this update, your staff can now easily sell memberships using QR codes through the Staff App in kiosk mode. This document will guide you through the steps to enable plan purchases and provide a seamless experience for your members/clients.

Enabling Plan Purchase from Staff App

Before you begin, ensure you are logged into your CORE account. Follow the steps below to make your plans available for purchase from the Staff App in kiosk mode:

  1. Go to Plans > Plans in your CORE account.

  2. Edit the plan that you want to make sellable from the Staff App.

  3. Scroll down to the "Landing Page" section.

  4. Toggle the "Show on Staff App (Kiosk Mode)" to "Yes".

  5. Repeat the same for each plan you wish to sell from the Staff App.

Note: Viewing and adjusting plans requires administrative rights. Please contact the gym administrator if you encounter any issues.

Checking Plan Selection Status

To check whether you have selected plans for purchase from the Staff App, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Staff App main screen and select the three dots next to the gym/studio name to access the Settings screen.

  2. Choose "Kiosk mode" from the Settings screen.

Kiosk Mode Options

In the Kiosk mode screen, you have the following options:

  • Allow check-ins: Enables members/clients to check into classes, open gym, and appointments.

  • Allow membership purchase: Allows the sales of plans from kiosk mode.

    Note: You can select both options or use separate devices for each function in kiosk mode.

Entering Kiosk Mode

Once you have selected the desired functions, apply a 4-digit security code (required to exit kiosk mode) and select "Enter Kiosk mode".

Depending on your selections for check-ins and buying memberships from kiosk mode, the device will display different screens as follows:

  • Check-in Window: Allows members/clients to check into class, open gym, or their appointment.

  • Buy Memberships Window: Displays the available plans for purchase from the Staff App in kiosk mode.

Selling Memberships

To sell a membership plan, follow these steps:

  1. Select the membership plan from the available list using the "Select" button.

  2. The membership details will open in a new window, where the member/client can scan the QR code and complete the process on their personal device.

  3. Once the QR code is scanned, the member should select "Done" to return to the previous screen.

Using QR codes for membership purchase offers several advantages:

  • Familiarity: Members can use their personal devices, making the process more familiar and convenient.

  • Digital Documentation: All necessary digital documentation can be completed during the process.

  • App Download: Members will be directed to download your gym or studio's branded app after the purchase.
