Staff App | Plan Purchase from Kiosk Mode

Here’s a streamlined guide for enabling and using the Kiosk Mode Membership Purchase Feature in the Staff App.

Enable Plan Purchases in the Staff App

  • Log into your Core account:

    • Note: Ensure you’re logged into your CORE account with administrative rights.

  • Set Up Plans for Sale:

    • Navigate to Plans then select Plans to view your list of active and in-active plans

  • Edit the plan you want to sell through the Staff App by selecting the three dots, then "Edit plan".

  • Scroll to the bottom of the edit panel and select "Next" to open the Online Sales settings.

  • Select Staff App (Kiosk Mode).

  • Scroll to the bottom and select "Save".

  • Repeat this process for all plans you wish to make available.

Verify Plan Selection in the Staff App

  • Open the Staff App and tap the gear icon next to the gym/studio name to access Settings.

  • Select Kiosk Mode from the settings menu.

Kiosk Mode Options

  • Allow Check-ins: Enable members to check-in for classes, appointments, events, and open gym on this device.

  • Allow Product Purchases: Enable members to complete product purchases on this device for products like drinks, snacks, clothing, or anything else you sell.

  • Allow Membership Purchase: Enable members to scan a QR code an purchase a membership, package, plan, or drop-in for your gym on this device.

  • Note: You can enable both options on a single device or dedicate separate devices for each function.

Entering Kiosk Mode

  • Set a 4-digit security code (required to exit kiosk mode).

  • Select Enter Kiosk Mode.

Kiosk Mode Screens

  • Depending on the enabled options, the kiosk will display:

    • Check-in: Classes, appointments, events, and open gym.

    • Buy Products: Drink, snacks, clothing, and more.

    • Buy Memberships: Memberships, packages, plans, & drop-ins.

Selling Memberships

  • Select a Membership Plan:

    • On the Kiosk Mode screen, browse the list of available membership plans.

    • Tap the “Select” button next to the desired plan.

  • Display Membership Details:

    • The membership details will open in a new window.

    • A QR code will be displayed for the member/client to scan using their personal device.

  • Complete the Purchase:

    • The member scans the QR code to be redirected to a secure page where they can complete the purchase process on their personal device.

  • Return to the Main Screen:

    • Once the QR code has been scanned and the process is initiated, the member should select “Done” to return to the previous screen or home screen in Kiosk Mode.

Using QR codes for membership purchase offers several advantages:

  • Familiarity: Members can use their personal devices, making the process more familiar and convenient.

  • Digital Documentation: All necessary digital documentation can be completed during the process.

  • App Download: Members will be directed to download your gym or studio's branded app after the purchase.
