Staff App allows you to use kiosk mode on a tablet to check members into their classes

The Staff App can be used in kiosk mode on a tablet for staff to sign members into classes/open gym or for members to sign themselves into classes/open gym. When the app is in kiosk mode, members do not have access to staff capabilities nor do they have the option to override and check in rules applied by their membership plan. NOTE: Staff cannot check into a class as the coach in kiosk mode.

To enter kiosk mode in your Staff App:

  • Open the Staff App

  • Select Settings (gear icon) | Kiosk Mode

  • Create a PIN to enable exiting the Kiosk Mode. This PIN allows Staff to revert from Kiosk Mode to Staff Mode

From the home screen, select 'Check-in'.

The Check-in textbox will appear. Enter the member/client's name.

The calendar list will pop up with the reserved class or next available class for check-in. NOTE: members/clients can use this same process to check into reserved appointments, Open Gym, and Events.

Once the class/appointment is selected, the member/client will receive a confirmation of successful check-in.

NOTE: Members/clients who have digital documents that need to be signed will be presented the documents prior to being able to check-in. There is no way to bypass document signing to check-in.
