How to Create an Event in Your Core Account

Events

An event is a one-time calendar item, such as a fundraiser, competition, or special one-time workouts. You can make events free or paid. Note: Only registrants will be able to check into the event.

Step 1: Access the Events Section

  1. In your Core dashboard, click Schedule > Events.

  2. Select + Event.


Step 2: Fill Out the Event Details

Complete the form with the appropriate details:

Details:

  • Event Name: The name of the event displayed on the calendar.

  • Event Start End Time/Date: Specify when the event begins.

  • Is This All Day?: Check 'Yes' if the event spans more than one day (start/stop times will not be required).

  • Is This Invite Only: When checked, only members invited through the registration URL can attend.

  • Price: Enter the cost of the event. For free events, set the price to 0.

  • Tax Rate: If the event is paid, select whether it is taxed.

  • Staff: Assign a staff member (optional).

  • Description (Optional): Add any details participants should know.

  • Event Type: Choose from options like CrossFit, Yoga, Beginners, On-ramp, etc.

  • Location: Specify the event location.

  • Coach: Assign a coach if applicable.

Settings:

  • Reservations Settings: Set preferences for when clients can reserve, open and close

  • AttendanceLimit: Limit how many people can pre-register and attend.

Other Settings:

  • Location: Add a location if applicable

  • Description: Add more details (optional)


Step 3: Finalize and Publish Your Event

After filling out all the details:

  • Double-check the event details for accuracy.

  • Click Save to make your event live.


Step 4: Need an Event Page Listed on Your PushPress Website?

  1. Go to your Grow Dashboard.

  2. In the left-hand menu, go to Upgrades.

  3. Click Content Library, then click Request Website Page.

  4. Navigate to Event Page and click on the Request button.

  5. Fill out the form, and the team will take care of the rest!


Additional Notes

  • Only registered participants will be able to check into the event.

  • Ensure your redirect URL is correct to maximize post-registration engagement.
