Payment Options
You can use PushPress to accept credit and debit card payments. The set of card brands you can accept depends on where you're located:
We can accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club.
Tap to Pay and Stripe Terminal
PushPress supports Tap to Pay and Stripe Terminal for contactless, in-person transactions through the Staff App (Kiosk Mode).
Tap to Pay: Works on NFC-enabled devices (iPhone XR or newer, or compatible Android tablets). Members can tap their phone or card to pay instantly.
Stripe Terminal: For devices without NFC, connect a Stripe Terminal to collect in-person payments.
All transactions are processed securely through Stripe and automatically recorded in PushPress Core for accurate reporting.
Processing fees: Tap to Pay and Stripe Terminal transactions process at 2.89% + $0.30 per transaction for Core Pro accounts.

You may also use PushPress to record your cash payments.
The only fees associated with charging credit cards thru PushPress are those of our merchant account processor, Stripe. Fees are only incurred on successful charges. Stripe does not charge "hidden" fees that most other credit card processors charge such as:

Refund Fees
Transfer Fees
Batch Fees
Gateway/Authorize.Net fees
Failed Transaction Fees
Further, Stripe does not charge a confusing "blended" rate like most other processing companies. Most other companies will quote you 1.9% but not mention that rewards cards, corporate cards, AMEX/Discover, and other cards are much higher rates. In the long run, when taking in to account all of the hidden fees typically charged by other processors plus the flat, non blended pricing pattern, Stripe often is a cheaper solution that most other processing options.
