Payroll reporting in PushPress Core is handled through the Payroll Report, which relies on staff pay rates and check-ins for classes and appointments. The built-in payroll report eliminates the need for additional apps by providing a comprehensive summary of all pay rates and totals for classes, events, and appointments. You can export this report and process payroll using any third-party payroll app.
Class Pay Rates
Access Staff Pay Settings:
Go to People > Staff Members and open the staff member’s profile.
Set the pay rate for each class type the staff member will coach.
Pay Rate Options:
Coaching Pay Rate:
Base rate per class coached (e.g., $25 per class).
Coach Check-In Pay:
Pay per member check-in for a class (e.g., $1.00 per member check-in).
This can be used as a standalone rate or in addition to a base pay rate.
Assistant Coaching Pay Rate:
Base rate for classes where the staff member is assigned as an assistant coach.
Appointment Pay Rates
Dollar Value:
Fixed dollar amount per appointment, regardless of how much the client pays for appointment credits (e.g., $50 per appointment).
Percentage Rate:
Percentage of the sales price for the appointment type (e.g., 50% of the appointment price).
Note: Percentage-based rates do not apply to appointment credits purchased through Hybrid Plans.
Event Pay Rates
Event pay rates are determined by the General Pay Rate set in the staff member’s profile. This ensures consistent compensation for staff members working events, based on their assigned rate for general duties.
To set the General Pay Rate:
Navigate to People > Staff Members.
Open the staff member’s profile and set the General Pay Rate.
This rate will automatically apply to any events the staff member is assigned to.
