Overview

GymHappy is an automated system that uses AI to gather feedback from a gym's membership base. Once feedback is submitted, the member is then encouraged to turn their GymHappy review into a Google review by simply clicking a button and pasting their review into Google. The GymHappy review is added to an archive that can be accessed for social proof and can be turned in to Social Media posts

GymHappy Review Request

How It's Triggered

This workflow is triggered when a qualifying check-in event occurs in PushPress Core.

How It Works

  • This workflow sends an outbound webhook to our servers.

  • Our servers verify whether the contact has received a review request within the last 90 days.

  • If the contact has not been asked for a review in the past 90 days, the system uses AI (ChatGPT) to craft a personalized review request message.

    • This ensures the message varies and does not repeat the same request each time.

  • If the contact leaves a 5-star review, the GymHappy Server prompts them to convert their review into a Google Review and provides them with the Google link.

Note:

  • If a contact has already received a review request in the past 90 days, the workflow logs an error in the Execution Logs.

  • This is normal and does not indicate that the workflow is malfunctioning.

GymHappy 5 Star Rating Referral Request

How It's Triggered

This workflow is triggered when a contact leaves a 5-star rating in the GymHappy system.

How It Works

This workflow verifies the following conditions:

  • The contact is a Member.

  • The contact left a 5-star review.

If both conditions are TRUE → The contact is asked to provide a referral.

If not true → The contact follows the right path, and nothing happens.

Customization Options:

  • If you want everyone to receive the referral message, you can remove the branching step.

Why the Referral Form is Sent via Email:

The SMS notification informs them that an email with the referral form is on its way.

Why email instead of SMS?

  • SMS providers flag links as spam, leading to poor delivery rates.

  • SMS does not allow link shortening or hyperlinks, making messages look cluttered.

  • To keep the SMS clean and professional, it simply directs the recipient to check their email for the referral form.

Note:

If you prefer to send the referral link via SMS, you can update the workflow to include the link directly.

GymHappy Referral Form submitted

How It's Triggered

This workflow is triggered when a contact submits a referral through the GymHappy Referral Form.

How It Works:

  • Once triggered, this workflow captures the referral's information from the form submission.

  • It then creates a new contact in your Grow system.

  • The referral is added to the "GymHappy Referrals" pipeline stage for follow-up.

NOTE:

  • No automated messages are sent to the referral by default.

  • We believe these interactions should be personal, but if you prefer, you can add emails or SMS to this sequence.

GymHappy Current Rating Alert Staff

How It's Triggered:

This workflow is triggered when the custom field "GymHappy Review Date" on a contact’s profile is updated.

How It Works

  • This workflow provides immediate client feedback to you and your staff after a GymHappy review is submitted.

  • It allows you to quickly assess client sentiment—whether they are happy or dissatisfied—and view their actual review.

Note:

This workflow does not include any outbound communication by default.
