In PushPress Core, performing an action on appointments can automatically trigger the following workflows:
Appointment Scheduled
Appointment Scheduled
How It's Triggered:
This workflow is triggered whenever an appointment is scheduled in PushPress Core.
How it Works:
When the workflow begins, it sends a notification to all staff members with the appointment details.
A confirmation email is sent to the client.
The workflow sets an event and waits until 2 hours before the appointment time.
At that point, it sends a reminder SMS to the client and a notification to staff.
Note:
If you prefer to send notifications only to specific staff members, create an If/Else branch to check for the assigned instructor name (e.g., "Instructor Name = XYZ").
This will allow notifications to be sent only to that particular staff member. If you need help setting this up, reach out to Support!
Advanced Note:
If you are using Grow for appointment communications, make sure to disable outbound communication and reminders in PushPress Core.
This prevents duplicate reminders from being sent by both systems.
Appointment Check-In

How It's Triggered:
This workflow is triggered when the contact or staff member checks in the client for their appointment in PushPress Core.
How it Works:
This workflow is intentionally left blank.
Note:
No outbound or internal messages are sent from this workflow by default.
To add an email or SMS, click the "+" anywhere in the sequence to insert a message.
Pro Tip:
Add a Wait Step 30 minutes after the appointment ends.
Example: For a 1-hour training session, set the wait step to 90 minutes after the start time.
Then, send a thank-you message to the contact to enhance their experience.
Appointment Rescheduled

This workflow is triggered when an appointment is rescheduled in PushPress Core.
How It Works
When the workflow begins, it sends a notification to all staff members with the updated appointment details.
A confirmation email is sent to the client.
The workflow sets an event and waits until 2 hours before the appointment time.
At that point, it sends a reminder SMS to the client and a notification to staff.
Note:

This workflow is triggered when an appointment is canceled in PushPress Core by either staff or the client.
How it Works:
When the workflow begins, it sends an internal notification to the assigned Staff/Instructor.
(Note: The instructor must be listed as staff in the system to receive notifications.)
This workflow does not send any outbound communication to the client by default.
Customization:
To send a cancellation confirmation to the client, click the "+" in the sequence and add an email or SMS.

Appointment Late Cancel

This workflow is triggered whenever an appointment in PushPress Core is marked as a "Late Cancel."
How it Works:
This workflow is intentionally left blank for you to customize the messaging as needed.
To send a cancellation confirmation to the client, click the "+" in the sequence and add an email or SMS.
Advanced Note:
If you are using Grow for appointment communications, make sure to disable outbound communication and reminders in PushPress Core.
This prevents duplicate reminders from being sent by both systems.
Appointment No-Show

How It's Triggered:
This workflow is triggered when an appointment in PushPress Core is marked as a "No Show."
How it Works:
This workflow is a blank slate, allowing you to customize your outbound messaging however you'd like!
By default, no communication is sent, but you can easily add a "No Show" message to the client.
To do this, click the "+" in the sequence and insert an email or SMS.
Advanced Note:
If you’re using Grow for appointment communications, be sure to disable outbound messages and reminders in PushPress Core.
This ensures clients receive a seamless experience without duplicate reminders from both systems.
