Step 1: Create a Gift Card Product
Log into PushPress Core.
From the left menu, go to Products → Product Info.
Click Create Product.
Enter the product name, description, and amount you want to sell the gift card for.
(Optional) Upload a photo for the product (e.g., “$50 Gift Card”).
Click Pricing & Options to confirm item details.
Go to Visibility & Integration and select where the product should be available (e.g., public store, kiosk, staff app).
Click Save Changes.
Your gift card is now an active product.
Step 2: Sell the Gift Card
Gift cards can be sold through:
The Staff App (recommended for walk-ins)
Your public store/landing page
The member’s People Profile by creating a manual invoice

Step 3: Apply the Gift Card Value to a Member’s Account
There are two common ways to apply the value:
Option A: Apply a One-Time Discount (most common)
Use this when the gift card is intended to reduce someone’s next membership payment.
Create a One-Time Discount equal to the gift card value.
Apply the discount to the member’s next bill.
Example:
$100 gift card → Apply $100 one-time discount to the next invoice.

Option B: Apply a Custom Product Discount
If the gift card will be used for retail items:
Create a discount for the specific product(s).
