Overview: Zapier as a Conduit for PushPress

Zapier is a powerful no-code integration platform that enables PushPress to communicate seamlessly with hundreds of other applications. Think of it as a conduit—it bridges apps to automate repetitive tasks, such as transferring lead data, triggering emails, updating spreadsheets, and more.

Bringing Data Into PushPress (From Zapier)

To import data (like leads or member info) into PushPress from another app (e.g., Google Forms, Typeform, CRM), you can use a Zap with:

  • Trigger App: The external source (e.g., form submission)

  • Action App: PushPress (e.g., Create Lead or Member)

Sending Data Out of PushPress

To export data from PushPress (e.g., when a new lead is added, or class is booked) to another app (like Slack, Google Sheets, or an email platform), your Zap would be:

  • Trigger App: PushPress

  • Action App: External tool of your choice

How to Get Your API Keys in PushPress (Updated Instructions)

The way you access your Public and Private API keys (a.k.a. Pairing Codes) has changed. Here’s the current method:

  • Log into your PushPress account.

  • Click the “Apps” section in the main menu.

  • Find the Zapier tile and click the “Configure” button.

  • In the right rail, click the pink plus (+) button.

  • Enter a Pairing Code Name – this can be any label (e.g., “Zapier Integration”).

  • Click “Create new pairing code.”

  • Once the code is created, click the three-dot menu next to it.

  • Select “View Info.”

  • A modal window will pop up showing:

    • Pairing Code (Public Key)

    • Secret Code (Private Key)

Note: These are used to authenticate PushPress with Zapier securely.
