Step 1: Accept the Friend Request
Meta requires you to be Facebook friends with someone before you can give them Page access.
Your Account Manager will send you a friend request.
Accept the request before continuing.
Step 2: Grant Page Access in Meta Business Suite
1. Open Meta Business Suite
Go to business.facebook.com
Select your business if you manage more than one.
2. Go to Business Settings
In the left menu, click Settings → Business Settings.
3. Open Your Page
In the left column, choose Accounts → Pages.
Click the Page you want to give access to.
4. Add the Person
Click Add People.
Select the person (they will appear once they’ve accepted your friend request).
5. Choose the Access Level
Select the needed permissions:
Task Access (editor-style access)
Full Control (admin-level access)
6. Send the Invite
Click Invite and confirm with your Meta password.
The person will receive a notification to accept.
Double Check
If you run into errors (e.g., “Can’t Add Person” or “This user must be friends with you first”), double-check:
You and your Account Manager are Facebook friends
You are logged into the correct Facebook account
You have Full Control (Admin) on the Page
The Page is under Meta Business Suite, not a personal Page configuration
