In your PushPress Grow Account, you can manage and filter thousands of contacts to find specific groups of people based on various criteria.

Updated this week

Here’s a step-by-step guide to using the More Filters function in PushPress Grow to filter and manage your contacts effectively:

Step 1: Access the More Filters Function

  • Log in to your PushPress Grow Account.

  • Navigate to the Contacts section.

  • Click on More Filters at the top of the contact list to open advanced filter options.

Step 2: Filtering Contacts by Specific Criteria

  • The More Filters menu allows you to filter contacts based on various criteria, such as:

    • Contact Information: First name, last name, email, date of birth, contact source, and contact type.

    • Check-in Data: Number of check-ins or specific check-in dates.

    • Plan Info: Plan name, plan category, or membership type.

    • Tags: Specific tags (e.g., “Member”, “14 Days for $47”).

    • Core Appointment Data: Scheduled appointments or custom fields.

Example: Filtering by Join Date

  • Select Join Date in the More Filters section.

  • Set a date range (e.g., August 1, 2021, to October 1, 2022).

  • Click Apply to view contacts who joined during this period.

Example: Combining Filters

  • To filter contacts who joined within a date range and have a specific tag:

    • Select Join Date and set the range (e.g., August 1, 2021, to October 1, 2022).

    • Add a Tag filter and choose the desired tag (e.g., “Member”).

    • Click Apply to see contacts matching both criteria.

Step 3: Filtering by Plan Name or Category

  • In the More Filters menu, select Plan Name or Plan Category.

  • Use Contains to search for specific keywords in the plan name.

  • Enter the exact plan name (e.g., “CrossFit 6 Months”).

  • Click Apply to view contacts with this plan.

Tip: For accuracy, copy the exact plan name from the Plans section of your PushPress core account.

Step 4: Creating and Saving Smart Lists

  • Save Your Filters:

    • After applying your filters, click Save as Smart List.

    • Name your Smart List and click Save.

  • Share Your List:

    • Go to Manage Smart Lists.

    • Select the list and enable sharing with your team.

Smart Lists make it easy to access and manage groups of contacts that meet specific criteria.

Step 5: Reviewing and Using Your Filtered Results

  • Filtered results will display in your contact list.

  • Use this data to:

    • View detailed contact info (e.g., plans, tags, join date).

    • Send targeted messages or emails.

    • Create reports or focus on specific member groups.

Additional Tips

  • Experiment with Filters: Combine different filters to find the best match for your needs.

  • Use Tags: Categorize members (e.g., “Trial Member”, “Cancelled”) for easier filtering.

  • Export Data: Export filtered results as a CSV file for further analysis or reporting.
