Here’s a detailed guide to finding, reviewing, and editing messages sent from workflows in PushPress Grow:
Step 1: Locate the Message
You can find messages in two ways:
Conversations Section:
Go to the Conversations tab in your Grow account.
Browse through all communications sent to members, including emails and SMS messages.
Contact Section:
If you’re looking for group communications or specific member interactions, check the Contacts tab.
For this guide, we’ll focus on the Conversations Section.
Step 2: Identify the Source of the Message
In the Conversations section, locate the specific message you want to review.
Click the three dots (…) next to the message to open its Message Details.
From the Message Details:
You’ll see that the message originated from an automation (workflow).
A link will be provided to open the workflow from which the message was sent.
Step 3: Navigate the Workflow
Click the link to access the workflow that sent the message.
Review the workflow details:
Triggers: The event that initiated the workflow (e.g., a new lead entered the system or a form submission).
Internal Messages: Notifications sent to your team (marked with a green bell icon).
External Messages: Emails or SMS texts sent to members (marked with email or text icons).
Step 4: Edit the Message
Locate the specific message (email or SMS) within the workflow.
Click on the message to open its details.
Edit the Content:
Modify the subject and body of the message as needed.
Adjust auto-filled custom values (e.g., “{{first_name}}”) for personalization.
Example: Change “The CrossFit Germantown Performance Team” to “The Shad Lorenz Team.”
Step 5: Save Your Changes
After editing the message:
Click Save Action to save changes to the message.
Click Save at the top-right of the workflow page to save the entire workflow with the updated message.
Double-check custom values and ensure formatting is correct.
Step 6: Test Your Changes
Test the workflow by triggering the automation (e.g., creating a test lead or completing a test action).
Review the message as it appears in the Conversations section to ensure:
The message content is correct.
Custom values populate properly (e.g., names, email addresses).
If everything looks good, your workflow is ready to go live.
