The Committed Club feature in PushPress is designed to help gyms boost member engagement by recognizing and rewarding consistent attendance. This guide outlines the steps to set up and manage the feature using PushPress Core.
Installing the Committed Club
The Committed Club feature is available to Pro and Max clients, enabling gyms to reward members for consistent attendance. Follow these steps to access and configure the Committed Club in Core:
Step 1: Install the Committed Club App
Access the Core App Store:
Log in to your PushPress Core dashboard and navigate to the App Store.
Install the Committed Club App:
Locate the Committed Club app.
Select “Configure” and then “Install” to add the app to your account.
Find the Dashboard:
Once installed, the Committed Club dashboard will appear under the Apps menu in Core.
Step 2: Initial Dashboard Setup
The Committed Club dashboard will guide you through the setup process with three key steps:
Name Your Club:
Choose a name that resonates with your gym culture and motivates your members.
Define Rules:
Set participation criteria, such as the required number of check-ins (e.g., 12 visits per month) to qualify for the club.
Set a Start Date:
Decide when the Committed Club will begin tracking attendance for your members.
Optional Resource:
For assistance with naming your club, establishing rules, and managing participation, refer to PushPress resources or brainstorm with your team to ensure alignment with your gym’s culture and goals.
Step-by-Step Setup for the Committed Club
Follow these steps to configure your Committed Club and start engaging your members:
Name Your Committed Club
Select “Choose a Name” in the setup steps.
Enter a name for your Committed Club (maximum 30 characters).
NOTE: Error Handling, If left blank, an error message will prompt you to input a name.
Optional AI Assistance: Use one of the AI-generated suggestions provided.
Refresh the suggestions by clicking the refresh button until you find one that fits your gym’s style.
Select Save to confirm your selection.
Set Rules
Select “Set Rules” in the setup steps.
Define the following:
Check-in Requirements: Enter the minimum number of check-ins a member needs to qualify (e.g., 12).
Check-in Types: Select the types of activities that count toward the check-in goal:
Classes
Appointments
Events
Open Gym
Customize further by selecting specific class or appointment types, if applicable.
Select Save to apply the rules.
Validation: Ensures you provide a numeric input and select at least one check-in type.
Select Start Date
Indicate whether your gym currently runs a Committed Club.
Choose a start month:
Options include the current month or any of the next three months.
For the Current Month:
Confirm an immediate launch by clicking the “Start” button.
Note: If this option is selected: Members on the latest version of the Members App or Branded App will begin to see Committed Club information immediately.
For Future Months:
A pre-launch banner will display in the dashboard until the launch date.
The Committed Club will go live in your dashboard and members’ apps at 12:00 am on the 1st of the selected month.
Managing the Committed Club
Pre-Launch Management
Editable Settings:
You can modify the name, rules, or start date anytime before the scheduled start date.
Pre-Launch Banner:
The dashboard displays a banner summarizing your setup and showing the scheduled start date.
Use this time to finalize details and prepare your members for the launch.
Post-Launch Management
Once your Committed Club has launched, the dashboard updates dynamically to provide insights and tracking:
Monthly Tiles: Displays a tile for each month the Committed Club has been active.
Current Month: Displays with an In-Progress tag, tracking participants as they work toward the check-in goal.
Historical Months: Summarizes participant data, including the total number of members who met the check-in goal.
Viewing and Managing Member Progress
Viewing Month in Progress
Access Member Data:
Click on the tile for the desired month to view a detailed table of members and their check-ins.
The table includes all members who have logged at least one check-in during the selected month.
Sorting Options: Organize the table based on:
Check-Ins: Sort high-to-low or low-to-high to easily identify top participants.
Name: Sort alphabetically (A-Z or Z-A) for quick member lookup.
Goal Achievement: Members who have reached the check-in goal will display a checkmark next to their total check-ins.
Exporting Data
Export Participant Information: Use the Export function to download member data for any selected month.
Exported data includes:
Member name
Email address
Total number of check-ins for the month
