Summary
You can charge a member for retail products, one-time fees, prorated dues, or any miscellaneous charge directly from their People Profile. This creates an invoice that you can charge immediately or leave open to combine multiple items into a single payment.
Step 1: Open the Member’s People Profile
Log in to PushPress Core.
Search for the member by name, email, or phone.
Open their People Profile.
Step 2: Create a Charge
Click Create a Charge at in the billing section.
A new invoice will open.
Step 3: Add Items to the Invoice
Click the pink “+” button on the invoice.
Choose a product or charge type from the list.
Select Add to Invoice.
Repeat if you need to add multiple items.
Step 4: Charge the Invoice (Optional)
After adding items, you may either:
Charge Now
Select a payment method and complete the transaction.
Leave the Invoice Open
If you do not charge the invoice, it will remain in Open status.
This allows you to add more items later and charge everything at once.
Why Leave an Invoice Open?
Keeping the invoice open allows you to combine multiple charges and save money on processing fees.
Stripe charges $0.30 per transaction, regardless of the number of items.
Stacking items into one invoice means paying the fee once, instead of multiple times.
Tips
Open invoices can be found in Payments → Invoices or on the member’s profile.
You can add retail items, prorated membership fees, or custom charges.
Once charged, the invoice status will update to Paid.
