A new Daily Intel Summary aggregates these insights at the top of your schedule, giving coaches, owners, and front-desk staff a quick view of member activity throughout the day. Why Use Member Intel?

Coaches walk in prepared. Relevant member context—new members, longtime members, injuries, birthdays, anniversaries, milestones—is surfaced automatically before class.

More personal member experiences. Coaches can acknowledge milestones and returning members, making meaningful connections without searching through profiles.

No extra work for staff. AI generates the insights. Coaches just review and coach.

Understanding the Daily Intel Summary

The Daily Intel Summary appears at the top of your Staff App schedule and provides a quick overview of member activity for the entire day.

What it includes:

  • Member milestones (birthdays, membership anniversaries, check-in milestones)

  • Returning members

  • New members in upcoming classes

  • Key insights about member activity

How it works:

  • Starts populating up to 3 hours before each class begins

  • Updates throughout the day as new classes come into view and members check in

  • Useful for preparing for upcoming classes and reviewing activity after classes end


How to Access Member Intel

1. Open the Staff App

  • Log in to the Staff App on your device

  • Ensure you are running version 2.2.9 or higher (update via the App Store or Google Play if needed)

2. Navigate to an Upcoming Class

  • Tap the Classes tab

  • Select a class starting within approximately 1 hour

  • The class must have at least 2 registered attendees for Member Intel to generate

3. Review Member Intel

  • If relevant insights exist, you will see a Member Intel summary within the class roster view

  • Tap the summary to see individual member highlights

  • Each member can show up to 2 highlights, prioritized by relevance

4. Use the Insights

  • Review 15–30 minutes before class for best preparation

  • Member Intel can also be viewed during class if needed

  • Use the context to personalize your coaching and acknowledge member milestones


Frequently Asked Questions

Why don't I see Member Intel for my class?

Member Intel only appears when there is meaningful context to surface. Visibility depends on:

  • The class is active and within approximately 1 hour of start time

  • The class has at least 2 registered attendees

  • At least one attendee has meaningful context (new member, returning member, milestone, birthday, etc.)

If no attendees meet these criteria, nothing is shown. This prevents clutter and keeps the experience clean.

What information does Member Intel show?

Member Intel surfaces: new member onboarding cues, leads or trials, returning members, membership milestones, birthdays, membership anniversaries, attendance patterns, injuries, recent coaching notes, and complete check-in history data.

What does the Daily Intel Summary show?

The Daily Intel Summary aggregates Member Intel insights from all upcoming classes on your schedule. It highlights member milestones, birthdays, returning members, and other key insights to give your entire team a single place to review member activity for the day.

Who can see Member Intel?

Anyone with Staff App access can view Member Intel, based on existing staff permissions.

How often does the Daily Intel Summary update?

The Daily Intel Summary updates throughout the day as:

  • New classes come into view (starting up to 3 hours before class)

  • Members check in before or during class

  • New insights are generated

Do members need to reserve a spot for Member Intel to work?

Reservations improve accuracy and relevance, but Member Intel can still function with available attendance data.

Is Member Intel available on all plans?

No. Member Intel is available on Pro and Max plans only. It is not available on Core or Starter plans.

What app version do I need?

Staff App version 2.2.9 or higher is required.

When is Member Intel generated?

Insights are generated approximately 1 hour before class start time. The Daily Intel Summary starts populating up to 3 hours before the first class of the day.

Will Member Intel show every member in the class?

Only members with meaningful context are highlighted. Not every member will appear—the system prioritizes the most relevant information to avoid overload.


Troubleshooting

If Member Intel is not showing or not working as expected, check:

  • You are on Staff App version 2.2.9 or higher

  • Your account is on a Pro or Max plan

  • The class starts within approximately 1 hour

  • The class has at least 2 registered attendees

  • You have Staff App access with standard permissions

Still not seeing it? Try:

  1. Logging out and back into the Staff App

  2. Checking with your admin to confirm your plan level and app version

  3. Ensuring at least one class attendee has meaningful context (new member, birthday, returning member, etc.)


Important Notes

Plan Restriction: Member Intel is available on Pro and Max plans only. It is not available on Core or Starter plans.

Empty state: Member Intel is designed to show only when there is something meaningful to surface. An empty state is expected behavior, not a bug.

Push notifications: Push notifications for Member Intel are planned for a future update and are not available at this time.

Data privacy: Member Intel uses aggregated check-in and membership data only. No personal member information is shared outside your gym's account.
