How to use the Celebrations Report in PushPress Core to track upcoming member birthdays and membership anniversaries.

Written by Jessica Hamel

Overview

The Celebrations Report helps you stay on top of meaningful member milestones — birthdays and gym anniversaries — so your team can personally acknowledge them and strengthen community connection.

Who can do this: Admin and Staff with reporting access

Where: Control Panel → Reports → Celebrations

How to Access the Celebrations Report

  1. Log in to the PushPress Control Panel.

  2. Go to Reports in the left navigation.

  3. Click Celebrations.

  4. The report loads with all upcoming celebrations in the default date range.

Filtering the Report

By default the report shows both birthdays and anniversaries together. To filter:

  • Click Birthdays to show only upcoming birthdays

  • Click Anniversaries to show only membership anniversaries

  • Adjust the date range to look ahead by days, weeks, or a custom window

How to Use It

Daily or weekly check-in: Assign a staff member to review the Celebrations Report at the start of each week. They can reach out personally — via text, a class shoutout, or a handwritten card — to anyone celebrating that week.

Automate with Grow: If you use Grow, set up birthday and anniversary workflows to send automated messages so no one gets missed. The Celebrations Report is still useful as a manual backup and spot-check.

Troubleshooting

Member's birthday isn't showing

  • Confirm the member's date of birth is entered on their profile (People → member profile → Edit Personal Info)

  • Birthdays only appear if the DOB field is populated

Anniversary isn't showing

  • Membership anniversaries are calculated from the member's original activation date

  • If a member was migrated or their plan was manually adjusted, the anniversary date may reflect the most recent plan start rather than their original join date
