By selecting the 2025 Year in Review live widget, a member will be taken through their data story from your gym at 2025

PushPress 2025 Year in Review for Members Overview

⚠️ IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR BRANDED APP CLIENTS
Members will not see the Year in Review if:

  • Your Apple Developer Agreements are not accepted, or

  • Your Apple Developer account is missing or inactive, or

  • Your Branded App is not updated to the latest required version (v3.32 or later)

PushPress cannot update your Branded App until these issues are resolved.
Missing these updates will block visibility of the Year in Review.

Members can access a personalized ‘2025 Year in Review’ that highlights their engagement and activity at each PushPress gym they are a part of. This fun and insightful overview showcases their attendance patterns through five key data points:

  • Total Number of Check-Ins:

    • Displays the total times the member checked into the gym throughout the year.

  • “Favorite” Class/Appointment/Event/Open Gym:

    • Highlights the specific activity they attended most often, giving insight into their preferences.

  • Time of Day Persona:

    • Categorizes the member based on their most frequent check-in times (e.g., Early Bird, Morning Person, Night Owl).

  • Peak Performance Month:

    • Identifies the month with the highest number of check-ins, showcasing their most active period.

  • “Favorite” Day of the Week:

    • Reveals the day they attended the gym most often.

This Year in Review provides members with a unique reflection of their fitness journey, encouraging continued engagement and celebrating their commitment to their health and wellness. It also offers gyms a creative way to strengthen their connection with members by highlighting their achievements.


What Members Will See

When the Year in Review goes live, members can tap a widget on the home screen to explore five personalized insights:

1. Total Check-Ins

How many times they checked into your gym in 2025.

2. “Favorite” Class or Session

The class, appointment type, event, or open gym session they attended most often.

3. Time of Day Persona

A fun persona based on their most frequent training times (e.g., Early Bird, Night Owl).

4. Peak Performance Month

The month they were most consistent.

5. “Favorite” Day of the Week

The day they come to your gym most often.

Members can also generate a recap image to share on social media.


How It Works

Early December: Pre-Launch Widget

Members on the latest version of the Members App or Branded App will see a teaser widget on their home screen.

Who Sees the Teaser

Members with:

  • The latest app version

  • At least 1 check-in during 2025

Members with 0 check-ins will not see the teaser.

What the Teaser Does

  • Builds excitement

  • Encourages additional check-ins before year-end

  • Gives a preview of what’s coming

  • Displays your gym’s logo for a branded feel


Mid–Late December: Year in Review Goes Live

When the feature unlocks:

  • The widget changes from black-and-white to full color

  • Members receive a push notification

  • Tapping the widget opens their personalized recap

Member Requirements

Members will see their Year in Review if they:

  • Use the latest version of the Members App or Branded App (v3.32 or later)

  • Have at least one check-in in 2025

Members with no check-ins will not see the recap.

FAQs

When will the Year in Review be available?

Year in Review will roll out mid–late December 2025.

Do members need to update their app?

Yes. Members must be on v3.32 or later to access Year in Review.

What if my Branded App cannot update?

If your Apple Developer account is inactive or agreements are not accepted, your Branded App cannot update.
As a result, members will not see Year in Review.
Please ensure all Apple requirements are completed before early December.

Do I need to set anything up as a gym owner?

No. Everything is automatic.

Can members with no check-ins see the Year in Review?

No. Members need at least one check-in in 2025.

Does this work for multi-location members?

Yes. Their recap will use validated totals from all locations they belong to.

Are workout (TRAIN) stats included?

Not for the 2025 release. Future versions may expand the types of insights included.

Will my gym’s logo appear?

Yes. If your logo is uploaded in Core, it will appear in the recap experience.
