Core | Appointments - Changing Staff Member or Rescheduling

How to change the staff member assigned to an appointment or reschedule an existing appointment in PushPress Core.

Written by Jessica Hamel

Overview

If an appointment needs to be moved to a different time or reassigned to a different coach, you can make both changes directly from the Appointments Calendar or from the member's profile.

Who can do this: Admin and Staff with appointment access

Where: Control Panel β†’ Appointments Calendar, or Member Profile β†’ Appointments tab

Method 1: From the Appointments Calendar

  1. Log in to the PushPress Control Panel.

  2. Go to Appointments β†’ Calendar.

  3. Locate the appointment you want to change.

  4. Click on the appointment to open it.

  5. Click the three dots menu on the appointment detail.

  6. Select Reschedule or Switch Staff.

To reschedule:

  • Select a new date and time from the available slots

  • Click Confirm

  • Select the new staff member from the dropdown

  • Click Confirm

Method 2: From the Member Profile

  1. Go to the member's profile page.

  2. Click the Schedule - Appointments tab.

  3. Find the appointment and click the three dots menu - Manage Appointment.

  4. Select Reschedule or Switch Staff and follow the same steps as above.

What Happens After a Change

  • The member receives an updated confirmation email if email notifications are enabled for that appointment type

  • The appointment updates immediately on the calendar

  • The original time slot opens back up for new bookings

Troubleshooting

The new time slot I want isn't available

  • Check the staff member's availability settings β€” slots only appear when the coach is marked available

  • Confirm the appointment type's general availability covers the time you're looking for

I don't see the Reschedule or Switch Staff option

  • Confirm you have the correct staff permissions to edit appointments

  • If the appointment is in the past, editing options may be limited
