How to accept your Grow Website Webflow editor invitation, log in for the first time, and make edits to your site so you can keep your website content up to date.

Overview

The Webflow Content Editor is the tool you will use to make changes to your PushPress website, including text, images, and CMS content. This article explains how to accept your editor invitation, log in for the first time, and make edits to your site so you can keep your website content up to date.

Note: The legacy editor will be available through August 4, 2026. All gym owners will transition to the new editor before that date.

How to Accept Your Invitation

1. Check Your Email for the Invitation

To accept your invitation, look for an email from Webflow in your inbox. PushPress manages your website through Webflow, and Webflow sends the invitation email directly. The email will come from a Webflow address and will include a link to accept your editor seat.

2. Accept the Invitation

To accept the invitation, click the link in the email.

3. Create or Log Into Your Webflow Account

To complete setup, follow one of these paths:

  • New to Webflow: Create an account using the email address your invitation was sent to. You will be prompted to set a password and answer a few onboarding questions. You can skip any questions that do not apply to your business.

  • Existing Webflow account: Log in with your existing credentials. Use the same account your invitation was sent to.

Important: Your new editor login is separate from your legacy editor credentials. You will need both until August 4, 2026, if you use both editors during the transition.

How to Access the Editor

1. Open Your Site in the New Editor

To open the new editor, go to your PushPress Grow dashboard - Website - Edit Website.

Note: If you don’t have access to edit your own site, you can also request access through this process above.

2. Log In When Prompted

To log in, enter the Webflow account credentials you set up when accepting your invitation. If you have not accepted your invitation yet, you will not be able to log in to the new editor.

How to Edit Your Website Content

1. Edit Text and Images

To edit text or images, click on any element on your page. A toolbar will appear allowing you to update the content. The core editing workflow (updating text, swapping images, editing links) works the same as the legacy editor.

Note: Some images on your site are managed through the CMS (content management system). If clicking an image does not allow you to edit it directly, navigate to the CMS section to update it.

2. Edit CMS Content (Class Schedules, Blog Posts, etc.)

To edit CMS-managed content, click on the CMS option in the editor panel. From there you can update items like blog posts, class schedules, or team member profiles. Select the item you want to edit and make your changes.

3. Preview on Desktop and Mobile

To preview how your changes look on different devices, use the responsive preview controls at the top of the editor. You can toggle between desktop and mobile views before publishing.

4. Publish Your Changes

To publish your changes, click the Publish button in the top-right corner of the editor. Your changes will go live on your website immediately.

Note: Publishing CMS items is a separate step than the main publish button in the editor.

Key Benefits

  • More reliable login. The new editor has fewer login issues than the legacy version.

  • Mobile preview. See how your site looks on mobile before publishing.

  • More CMS access. Manage more content types directly from the editor.

Important Notes

Important: The legacy editor (?edit) will stop working on August 4, 2026. After that date, all edits must be made in the new editor.

Note: The new editor is a Webflow product. You may see Webflow branding throughout the editor experience, including the workspace name ("PushPress 1", "PushPress 2", etc.). This is expected and does not affect your ability to edit your site.

Note: The new editor includes features that PushPress does not use, such as Comment Feature, Analyze, Optimize, and Localization tools. You can ignore these sections.

Note: If you need a change made to your site before you have completed your migration, use Request Edits in your PushPress dashboard and the team will make the change for you.

Troubleshooting the Webflow Editor

  • Can't log in after accepting the invite: Try resetting your Webflow password. Go to the Webflow login page from your Grow Menu - Website and click "Forgot password". If you are logged into Webflow under a different account, log out first, then try logging in again.

  • Getting an error when accepting the invite: Log out of any active Webflow session, then click the invitation link again from your email.

  • Can't find the invitation email: Check your spam folder. The email comes from a Webflow address sharing “Your Invitation to Webflow.” Contact PushPress support if you cannot locate it.

  • Edit button opens the old editor: Make sure you are using ?update at the end of your URL, not ?edit. The PushPress dashboard button may need to be updated. Contact support if this happens.

  • Image won't let you edit it directly: That image is likely managed through the CMS. Navigate to the CMS panel in the editor to update it.

Still stuck? Try logging out and back in, refreshing the page, or testing on another device. If the issue continues, contact PushPress support.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why did I get an email from Webflow?

You received an email from Webflow because PushPress uses Webflow to power your website's editing tools. Webflow is upgrading its editor and sent the invitation on behalf of your site. Your access is still managed through PushPress, but the editor itself is a Webflow product.

Do I need to do anything right now?

You do not need to take action immediately. You can continue using the existing editor through your PushPress dashboard until August 4, 2026. However, accepting the invitation now will give you time to get familiar with the new editor before the transition deadline.

What happens if I don't accept before August 4?

If you have not accepted your invitation before August 4, 2026, you will lose access to the legacy editor and will need to complete your migration at that point. PushPress will send reminders before the deadline.

Can I still use the old editor after accepting the new one?

Yes, you can use both editors until August 4, 2026. Accepting the new editor invitation does not remove access to the legacy editor. After August 4, only the new editor will be available.

What's different about the new editor?

The new editor has the same core capabilities as the legacy editor, including editing text, images, links, and CMS content. It also adds mobile preview, a comment tool, and more CMS access. The main differences are Webflow branding throughout the interface and some additional features (like Analyze and Optimize) that PushPress does not use. You can ignore those sections.

I accepted the invite but can't log in to my old editor anymore.

You should have access to both editors until August 4, 2026. In most cases this is a password issue. Try resetting your Webflow password for the legacy editor. If that does not resolve it, contact PushPress support.

Why does the editor say PushPress 1, 2, or 3?

Those are internal Webflow workspace labels used to organize PushPress client sites. It does not affect your editing access or your website.

Can I use the comment tool to request changes from PushPress?

The comment tool in the new editor allows you to leave notes on specific elements of your site. However, to submit an official change request to PushPress, use Request Edits in your PushPress dashboard.

What if I need a site change before I've set up my new editor access?

If you need a change made to your site during the transition period, use Request Edits in your PushPress dashboard. The PushPress team will make the update for you.
