What to Request From Our Team
For changes beyond the self-edit list, submit a request using the PushPress Website Editor (powered by BugHerd).
Standard edits our team handles:
Font size and color changes
Image swaps on static or program pages
Adding amenities, additional locations, or featured programs
Reordering sections or adjusting whitespace
Adding Google Analytics tags or Meta/Facebook Pixel
Form pop-ups
Hero section background videos (must follow compression best practices)
Icon changes or custom font sourcing
H1 SEO title updates
New page requests (Events, Challenges, Programs, Nutrition, Pricing, or custom pages)
Limited Edits (Allowed With Constraints)
These edits are possible but come with specific requirements or limitations:
H1 SEO Title Verbiage: You can update the H1 SEO title above each page, but it must follow the format: [Gym Type] in [City, State]. This structure is essential for SEO optimization.
Hero Section Videos: Videos can be added to the homepage hero section without harming site speed or SEO, provided you follow best practices: Use compressed MP4 format, host via CDN or clean embedded player (YouTube/Vimeo without branding), set to autoplay muted, add poster image and lazy loading, include fallback content for accessibility. Alternatively, lightweight motion formats like Lottie or WebM offer sleek, SEO-friendly alternatives.
Icon Changes: There is a limitation on changing icons within the website. PushPress maintains an icon library in CMS Collections, but alternatives can be sourced if needed.
Font Style Changes: Font style changes are limited due to lack of built-in presets in Webflow, but specific fonts can be sourced if requested.
Discouraged Edits (Why We Recommend Against These)
The following edits can cause problems with functionality, SEO, or the effectiveness of your website and are actively discouraged:
Removing Core Calendar Time Slots or Reservation Links — Disables core functionality needed for member bookings.
Filtering Core Calendar — Restricting to Daily, Weekly, or Monthly views breaks the system architecture.
Adding Private Programs to Core Calendar — Conflicts with how the reservation system functions.
Extra CTAs in Navbar or Homepage Hero — Dilutes conversion focus and violates the StoryBrand framework your site is built on.
Structural Layout Changes — Reordering major sections or adjusting core layout compromises the conversion-optimized design.
What's Not Supported (Out of Scope)
Grow websites are purpose-built to perform and convert leads — not serve as fully customizable platforms. The following fall outside what we can accommodate:
Fully custom layouts or page-by-page design work
Structural layout changes (no carousels, custom-built sections, or design replication of other websites)
Adding private programs or filtered calendar views
Map styling changes (e.g., black and white maps)
Any request requiring significant departure from the templated design
Why these boundaries exist: Your Grow website is optimized for performance, speed, and lead conversion. Custom design work typically costs $5,000+ in setup fees plus ongoing maintenance. Your Grow website provides significant cost savings while including design, hosting, maintenance, and support — all included in your plan.
