How to Use the AI Assistant in PushPress Core

The AI Assistant is a built-in tool inside PushPress Core that understands your gym, your members, and your data. This article explains how to access and use the AI Assistant so you can get instant answers about your business and take action on members without navigating through multiple screens.


Why Use the AI Assistant?

  • Get instant answers about your gym: Ask about revenue, check-ins, member status, cancellations, payment history, and more without running a report.

  • Take action in the same conversation: Go from identifying a problem to acting on it (charging a fee, updating a membership) without switching screens.

  • No setup or training required: Works in plain language. If you can type a question, you can use it.

  • Works for your whole team: Owner-operators, front desk staff, and admins all benefit. It respects existing staff permissions.

How to Set Up the AI Assistant

1. Confirm Access

To confirm access to the AI Assistant, log in to PushPress Core. The AI Assistant is available to all Pro and Max plan customers. No configuration is required. If you are on an eligible plan, the Assistant is available immediately.


2. Open the AI Assistant

To open the AI Assistant, look for the Assistant icon or prompt bar within your Core dashboard. Click it to open the conversation interface. You will see a text field where you can type any question or request about your gym.

How to Use the AI Assistant

Asking Questions About Your Gym

To ask a question about your gym, type it in plain language in the conversation field. The AI Assistant understands questions like:

  • "What's going on with my gym this week?"

  • "Who has a pending cancellation?"

  • "Who should I be paying attention to?"

  • "What's my revenue trend this month?"

The Assistant will return a clear answer with relevant member names, context, and data. You can ask follow-up questions and it will keep the thread going without starting over.


Taking Action on Members

To take action on a member, ask the Assistant to do it directly in the conversation. You can say things like:

  • "Charge all no-shows from Tuesday's 6am class."

  • "Update [member name]'s membership."

  • "Invoice [member name] for the past 4 months."

The Assistant will complete the action or, if it cannot, explain what to do and take you to the right place in Core.

Note: The AI Assistant is in beta during Early Access. It is fully functional and improving based on real usage.


Troubleshooting the AI Assistant

If the AI Assistant is not appearing or responding as expected, check the following:

  • Your gym is on a Pro or Max Core plan

  • You have joined the Early Access waitlist (during the Early Access period)

  • You are logged in to the correct account

  • Your browser or app is up to date

If the Assistant says it cannot complete an action, it will explain why and show you where to go in Core to do it manually.

Note: The AI Assistant follows existing staff permissions. It will only surface data and take actions that the logged-in user is authorized to access.

Note: During Early Access, the Assistant carries a beta label. Functionality will expand based on usage and feedback.

Important: Early Access requires joining the waitlist. The Assistant is not automatically enabled for all Pro and Max customers until General Availability.
