Learn how to view members by plan in the PushPress Core People List, stack filters, and read plan status.

Written by Jessica Hamel

Summary

The People List in PushPress Core lets you view members by plan without leaving the main list. This article explains how to open the People List filtered by a plan, stack additional filters, and read plan status, so you can manage members from one list instead of a separate by-plan page. This guide is for gym owners and staff who look up members by plan.

How it Works

  • Viewing members by plan opens the People List with that plan already filtered. The click and the location are the same, only the destination has changed.

  • The standalone by-plan member pages have been replaced by the filtered People List.

  • Filters can be stacked, for example plan plus status, or plan plus person type.

  • Leads, Non-members, and Staff each have their own list, and your filter carries across them.

  • Plan status now appears as a column in the People List instead of separate tabs for active and inactive.

  • Note: There are no new plan level or role requirements. Anyone who can already view the People List can filter it by plan.

How to View Members by Plan

1. Open the Plans list

To open the Plans list, log in to Core and click Plans in the left navigation.

2. Click the active count on a plan

To click the active count on a plan, find the plan you want and click the X active count next to it. Core opens the People List with that plan already applied as a filter.

3. Review the filtered list

To review the filtered list, confirm the plan filter appears above the list, then use the Status column to see who is active, paused, or canceled on that plan.

How to Filter and Stack Filters Manually

1. Navigate to the People List

To navigate to the People List, log in to Core and click People in the left navigation.

2. Select the list you want

To select the list you want, choose the Members, Non-members, Leads, or Staff tab. Your filters carry across these tabs when you switch.

3. Apply a plan filter

To apply a plan filter, click Filter, choose Plan, then select the plan you want to view.

4. Stack a second filter

To stack a second filter, click Filter again and add another condition, for example Status or person type. Remove any filter by clearing it from the filter bar.

Key Benefits

  • One list to learn: search, sort, filter, and bulk actions all live in the People List.

  • Stackable filters: combine plan with status or person type instead of using one fixed view.

  • Filters carry across tabs: move between Members, Non-members, Leads, and Staff without rebuilding your filter.

  • Fewer pages to navigate: the by-plan view is part of the People List instead of a separate page.

Troubleshooting the Plan Filter

If the People List does not show what you expect, check the following:

  • The count does not match the Plans page: the People List shows all statuses in one view with a Status column, while the Plans page shows only the active count. Add a Status filter to compare the same set of people.

  • A member shows an unexpected status: members enrolled in more than one plan display the status that applies across their plans, so a member with one active plan and one plan in alert appears as alert.

  • A canceled member is missing: check the Non-members list. People who canceled their only plan move out of the Members list.

  • The plan filter disappeared: reapply it from the Filter menu. Filters are not saved in the page URL, so they do not survive a direct link or a page reload.

Still stuck? Try logging out and back in, refreshing the page, or testing on another device.

Important Notes

Important: The old by-plan member page URLs no longer open a standalone page. Replace any bookmarks or saved links that point to them with a link to the People List.

Note: The first time you open the People List after this release, a one-time message explains that the plan list now acts as a filter. Click Got it to dismiss it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where did the members by plan page go?

The members by plan page has moved into the People List. Clicking the active count on a plan now opens the People List with that plan already filtered, so the click and the location are the same and only the destination has changed.

Can I filter by plan and status at the same time?

Yes, you can filter by plan and status at the same time. Apply the plan filter first, then add a Status filter to narrow the list to active, paused, or canceled members on that plan.

Why does my plan count look different in the People List?

Your plan count can look different in the People List because the People List shows every status in one view with a Status column, while the Plans page shows only the active count. Apply a Status filter for active members to compare the same set of people.

Does the plan filter work for Leads, Non-members, and Staff?

Yes, the plan filter works across Leads, Non-members, and Staff. Each group has its own list, and your filter carries across them when you switch tabs.

Do I need a specific plan level or staff role to filter by plan?

No, you do not need a specific plan level or staff role to filter by plan. Any staff member who can already view the People List in Core can apply a plan filter.

How do I find members who canceled a specific plan?

To find members who canceled a specific plan, open the People List, apply the plan filter, then add a Status filter for canceled. If the person canceled their only plan, check the Non-members list as well.
