How to Locate and Manage Members in PushPress
Managing member visibility in PushPress is essential for ensuring that all individuals, including those without active plans or specific client types like personal training (PT) clients, can be located and managed effectively. This guide provides an overview of how to locate members and manage their visibility in the system.
Overview of Member Visibility in PushPress
In PushPress, only individuals with active plans are considered members by default and appear in the Members list. However, there are ways to locate individuals without active plans and ensure that specific client types, such as PT clients or appointment-only members, are visible in the system.
Using Search Tools to Locate Members
If a member does not have an active plan, they will not appear in the Members list. However, you can still locate them using the following methods:
Global Search: Use the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner of the PushPress interface to search for individuals by name. This tool allows you to access their profile regardless of their plan status.
People Section: All individuals, including those without active plans, should be visible under the 'People' section in the staff app.
Managing Visibility for Members Without Active Plans
To ensure that individuals without active plans can still be managed effectively, consider the following solutions:
Assign a Custom Membership Plan: Create a custom plan (e.g., a zero-cost plan with no class access) and assign it to individuals who need to be visible in the Members list. This approach is particularly useful for PT clients or other non-traditional members.
Special Cases: PT Clients and Appointment-Only Members
Personal Training (PT) Clients
PT clients are not considered members by default if they do not have an active plan. To make them appear in the Members list and the People tab:
Create a custom plan, such as a "PT CLIENT" plan.
Mark it as a member plan.
Set the cost to zero and provide no class access.
Assign this plan to your PT clients.
Appointment-Only Members
For appointment-only clients, you can use a hybrid membership plan to ensure they are treated as members in the system. This involves:
Creating a recurring membership plan that grants appointment credits.
Assigning this membership to the client.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Why can’t I find a person in the Members list after their plan ended? - Only individuals with active plans appear in the Members list. Use the global search tool to locate their profile.
Why don’t PT clients appear in the People tab? - PT clients without a plan are not considered members. Assign a custom plan to make them visible.
By following these guidelines, you can effectively locate and manage all members in PushPress, ensuring that no individual is overlooked, regardless of their plan status or membership type.
