Sometimes you don’t want workflows running.
For example, during holidays or when your gym is closed.
Grow lets you pause many workflows at once, so you don’t have to open them one by one.
This guide shows two easy ways to do it.
What “Pause” Means
When a workflow is paused, it is put in Draft mode.
Draft workflows do not run or send messages. It Pauses everyone in the workflow at their current position until resumed where it will begin where it left off.
When you unpause, you Publish them again so they work like normal.
Option 1: Pause or Unpause All Workflows Fast
Use this when you want to stop everything right now.
Pause All Workflows
Click Workflows on the left menu.
You will see your list of workflows.
Click Select All.
A button will appear that says Draft All Workflows.
Click Draft All Workflows.
✅ All workflows are now paused.
Unpause All Workflows
Stay on the Workflows list.
Click Select All again.
Click Publish All Workflows.
✅ All workflows are now live again.
Option 2: Schedule a Bulk Pause (Great for Holidays)
Use this when you want workflows to pause for certain dates, then turn back on automatically.
Step 1: Go to Pause Workflow Settings
Click Settings on the left menu.
Under Business Services, click Automation.
Scroll until you see Pause Workflow (like in the screenshot).
Step 2: Pick the Pause Dates
Under When to pause workflow?
Choose a Start Date and Time.
Choose an End Date and Time.
Example:
Start: Dec 24
End: Jan 2
Step 3: Choose Which Workflows to Pause
Click the Workflows dropdown.
Select:
one workflow,
a few workflows, or
all workflows you want paused.
Step 4 (Optional): Pause Every Year
If you want this to happen every year:
Check the box Annually.
Example:
Pause every year from Dec 24 → Jan 2.
Step 5: Save
Click Save.
✅ Grow will pause those workflows during the dates you chose.
✅ They will automatically turn back on after the end date.
Quick Tips
Use Option 1 if you need to pause everything right away.
Use Option 2 if you want a planned pause for holidays or time off.
Always double-check your dates before saving.
