Summary
Apple periodically requires all developers to review and accept updated legal agreements.
If your Apple Developer account has pending agreements, the PushPress team cannot submit or update your Branded App until these agreements are accepted by your Apple Account Holder.
This guide shows you how to review and accept the agreements so we can continue updating and publishing your Branded App.
Why This Matters
Apple will block all app updates and submissions until agreements are accepted.
Only the Account Holder (the person listed as the Owner of your Apple Developer account) can accept these agreements.
PushPress has no ability to accept these agreements on your behalf.
If agreements are not updated, your Branded App may become outdated or unable to publish new versions.
Who Needs to Complete This
✔️ Apple Developer Account Holder
The individual listed as the “Account Holder” for your organization’s Apple Developer Program.
Admins and Users cannot accept agreements.
How to Update Your Apple Developer Agreements
Follow these steps:
Step 1: Log in to the Apple Developer Account
Go to: https://developer.apple.com/account/
Sign in using the Apple ID tied to your Organization’s Developer Program.
Step 2: Go to “Business” (Agreements Section)
Once logged in:
On the top navigation bar, click Business
(Shown in the screenshot – this is where Apple stores all agreements you must accept.)You will see a list of agreements, including:
Paid Apps Agreement
Free Apps Agreement
Any newly required Apple Legal Agreements
If an agreement needs attention, Apple will highlight it with:
“A new version of your agreement is available.”
Step 3: Review & Accept Each Pending Agreement
Click the agreement name (e.g., Paid Apps Agreement).
Review the terms.
Scroll down and click Accept.
Repeat this for any agreements labeled “New Agreement Available.”
⚠️ Important: All required agreements must be accepted before PushPress can submit or update your Branded App.
Step 4: Confirm Agreement Status
After accepting, the status should show:
Active
(with no “New Agreement Available” warning)
This means your account is now clear for app submission.
How to Tell If Agreements Are Blocking Your App
PushPress may notify you when:
A Branded App update fails due to an Apple Agreement issue
Your account shows a pending Paid Apps Agreement
The App Store Connect dashboard displays a modal such as:
“The Apple Developer Program License Agreement has been updated and needs to be reviewed.”
You may also see prompts inside App Store Connect when viewing your app.
