Raising membership rates is inevitable. It is something every business will do at some point. Luckily, PushPress makes this easy to implement. 

We'll create 2 different price increase scenarios and how to execute them in PushPress

Scenario 1: Raising rates, but Grandfathering current members for 'XX' months.

1. Select the plan you want to increase rates on. Go into the 'Edit' view.
2. Change the value in the "Recurring Amount" field. This will reveal a new button option for "Update Subscriptions.
3. Leave this option to 'No'.
4. Save plan

This option increases the plan rate to the new rate for NEW members. It does not affect any members currently on this plan. When it comes time to increase rates for the existing members, follow directions below.

Scenario 2: Raising rates for all members

1. Select the plan you want to increase rates on. Go into the 'Edit' view.
2. Change the value in the "Recurring Amount" field. This will reveal a new button option for "Update Subscriptions.
3. Change the option to 'Yes'
4. Save plan

This option will increase the plan rate for ALL existing members on this plan and will take affect at the next billing period for each member. 


*If you already increased rates for new members, but want to increase rates for grandfathered members, just change the values in the 'recurring amount' field to something different. This will reveal the 'Update subscriptions' option. Set that to 'Yes'. Then go back into the 'Recurring amount' field to change it back to the current rate. Then save the plan. This will update all grandfathered members to your current rate.
