Want to send your contacts a happy holiday message for specific yearly holidays? Here's how to do it!
2. Click on Automation
3. Click on Create workflow
4. Click on Start from Scratch
5. Click on Create new workflow
6. Click on the + to add the first step in the sequence
7. add the Set event start date
8. select the drop down menu
9. Select date/time from the drop down
10. select the date you want this to trigger on
11. Select the appropriate date from the calendar day
12. select the time of the even you want to start the event on
NOTE: you will need to periodically reset the even time/date for the next year after the event has passed
13. Click on Save Action
14. Click on the + mark to add a second step in the workflow
15. add a wait step
16. open the drop down menu
17. Click on Event / Appointment time from the menu
18. select the wait period before or after the start time of the event when you want this workflow to start
19. Select the move to next step option
20. Click on Save Action
21. Click on the + mark to add a 3rd step in the workflow
22. Click on the SMS or Email options you want to send you your contacts
23. Type your text message and click save action
24. If you want to add another message like an email, click the + mark and add another step
25. fill in the appropriate fields for the email
26. Add the email address you want this email to come from or select the gym email from the tag menu
27. Create a subject line
28. Type you email message and Click on Save Action
29. Click on the + mark to add another step
30. add a wait step
31. from the drop down menu, select the wait period. We suggest 1 day or more
32. Select the time for this wait; we recommend a 1 day wait step here
33. Click on Save Action
34. Click on the + to add another step in the workflow
35. If you need to remind yourself to reset the "Event date" from the beginning of the workflow, select internal notification, or add a task here
36. select either email, Notification or SMS type message.
37. We suggest notification here
38. Type "update date on workflow"
39. select the user who will receive this notifications reminder
NOTE: that this will trigger a notification on all clients who pass through this step, so in order to not receive 100+ notifications, you can choose to remove this step
