Creating program templates in PushPress Train allows you to streamline workout programming for your members and clients. Follow these steps to set up a new template:
Create a Program Template
Log into Train: From your Core account, go to Apps > Train.
Alternatively, log in directly at train.pushpress.com.
Access Program Templates: Navigate to Coaching > Program Templates > Manage Templates.
Create a New Template: Click the + Create Template button.
Enter a name for your template.
Select Template Type:
Static Program (most common):
Follows sequential numbering of days (e.g., Day 1, Day 2, etc.).
If deselected: The template will follow specific calendar dates when published, ideal for date-specific challenges or events.
Progressive Program (optional):
Requires members to log a score before advancing to the next workout.
Set Attachment Options:
Attach to Program: Directly links the template to a daily or personal training program.
Assign Plan Access: Allows specific plans to access the template (ideal for sellable templates linked to a Core plan).
Attach Later: Saves the template without setting visibility or an attachment.
Save the Template: Click Save to confirm and finalize your template.
How to Assign a Template in PushPress Train
Templates in Train can be assigned to daily programs, personal training, or specific plans for sellable access. Here’s how to assign or manage templates in different contexts:
Assigning a Template to a Daily Program
Navigate to Daily Programs: Go to Coaching > Daily Programs.
Select the Workout Builder for the desired daily program.
Manage Templates: Click Manage Templates > Templates.
Add the template and choose a start date.
Note: To remove a template or affiliate programming, click Remove next to the template.
Managing Plan Access for Templates
Navigate to Templates: Go to Coaching > Program Templates > Manage Templates.
Manage Plan Access: Click Manage Plan Access to assign or remove plan access.
Use this option when selling template access through Core with a specific plan.
Assigning a Template to a Personal Training Program
Navigate to Personal Training: Go to People > Personal Training.
Select the client’s Workout Builder.
Manage Templates: Click Manage Templates > Templates > Add Template.
Choose the template and set the start date.
