Before You Begin
To book appointments from the Core Dashboard:
Appointment types must already be created in Core.
Staff availability must be configured.
The client must either:
Have available appointment credits, or
Be assigned/purchased credits during booking.
Book an Appointment Using an Existing Credit
If the client already has appointment credits:
Step 1: Open the Appointment Calendar
In Core, select Appointments from the left-hand menu.
The Appointment Calendar will display the current week.
Step 2: Select a Date & Time
Click directly on the desired date and time on the calendar.
The right-side booking panel will open.
Step 3: Enter Appointment Details
Select the Appointment Type.
Choose the Staff Member.
Search and select the Client.
Confirm available credits (shown under the client’s name).
Choose Individual (single session) or Recurring.
Click Save.
If a credit is attached, the appointment will appear on the calendar as Booked.
Book an Appointment Without a Credit
If the client has 0 credits, you can:
Add a credit before saving, or
Save the appointment without applying a credit.
If saved without a credit, the appointment will show as:
Booked & Unpaid
This status is important for revenue tracking and payroll accuracy.
Create a Recurring Appointment
To schedule repeating sessions:
Step 1: Select Recurring
In the booking panel, choose Recurring instead of Individual.
Step 2: Configure the Series
Select:
Days of the week
Appointment time
Repeat interval
Choose when the series ends:
On a specific date
After a number of occurrences
Never
Step 3: Save the Series
Click Save to create the recurring appointments on the calendar.
View and Manage Appointment Details
Click any appointment on the calendar to open the summary view.
From here, you can:
View booking status (Booked vs Booked & Unpaid)
Cancel the appointment
Reschedule
Change the assigned staff member
Manually check in the client
Understanding Booking Status
Booked = Credit applied
Booked & Unpaid = No credit attached
Always verify booking status to maintain accurate billing and reporting.
