How to Book Appointments from the Staff App

Staff can schedule appointments directly from the PushPress Staff App. Appointments can be booked using existing credits or by adding/purchasing credits during booking.

Before You Begin

To book an appointment in the Staff App:

  • The appointment type must already be created in Core.

  • Staff must have permission to access Appointments.

  • The client must either:

    • Have available appointment credits, or

    • Be sold/assigned credits during booking.


Book an Appointment Using an Existing Credit

If the client already has appointment credits:

Step 1: Open the Appointment Calendar

  1. Log into the Staff App.

  2. Open the top-left menu.

  3. Tap Appointments.


Step 2: Start a Booking

  1. Tap Book Appointment.

  2. Select:

    • The Appointment Type

    • Select the Client by Typing their Name & Selecting from the Drop-Down Menu

    • The Staff Member (defaults to you unless you're an admin)


Step 3: Choose Individual or Recurring

  • Individual = Single appointment or adding multiple individual appointments

  • Recurring = Repeating series of appointments

Select the date and time, then tap Save.

If a credit is applied, the appointment will show as Booked.


Book an Appointment by Adding or Purchasing Credits

If the client shows 0 credits, you can add one during booking.

Step 1: Add Credits

  1. After selecting the client, tap + Credit.

  2. Choose:

    • Package (prebuilt package from Core), or

    • Custom (manually set credits, expiration, and price).


Step 2: Complete the Credit Assignment

  1. Confirm the credit details.

  2. Complete the purchase or assignment.

  3. Continue booking the appointment.

  4. Tap Save.


If a credit is not added before saving, the appointment will show as:

  • Booked (credit applied)

  • Booked & Unpaid (no credit attached)

This distinction is important for revenue tracking and payroll.


View and Manage Appointment Details

To review or edit appointments:

  1. Go to Appointments.

  2. Select the desired calendar date.

  3. Tap on the appointment.

From here, you can:

  • View booking status

  • Cancel the appointment

  • Reschedule

  • Change the assigned staff member
