The Grow Navigation Overview

When you log into Grow, you will see the following sections in your dashboard:

  • Dashboard

  • Conversations

  • Calendars

  • Contacts

  • Opportunities

The two areas where you will spend the vast majority of your time are Conversations and Opportunities.

Conversations (95% of Your Time)

The Conversations tab is the heart of your daily Grow workflow. This is where you engage with leads, respond to members, and stay on top of everything happening in your pipeline.

Setting Up Your View

If your right-hand sidebar is collapsed, click Contact Details to expand it. This will show you all the details for the person you are currently viewing.

Conversation Filters

Use the filters at the top of the Conversations column to organize your view:

  • Unread Messages or notifications you have not reviewed yet. These can include missed calls, birthday messages from social media, or system notifications. Click into them and select Mark as Read to clear them out.

  • All Every conversation in your account.

  • Recent Conversations that have been active lately. These include member engagements, five-star review notifications, and Gym Happy review requests. Not all of these are leads, but they are useful to monitor.

  • Starred Your highest-priority conversations. Use this for leads you are actively working and expect to close within the next day or two.

Using the Starred Filter for Lead Management

The Starred filter is one of the most practical tools in Grow for day-to-day lead follow-up:

  1. Identify leads you are actively working toward a membership.

  2. Star their conversation so they stay at the top of your daily view.

  3. To unstar a contact, click the star icon again. Note that if you unstar someone, you will need to search for them to re-add the star.

šŸ’” Tip: Keep your Starred list focused. A small number of high-priority leads is easier to act on than a long list you scroll past.

Using the Contact Panel

When you are in a conversation, the right-hand contact panel gives you three key tabs:

  • All Fields Full contact information and profile details.

  • D&D Additional contact data fields.

  • Actions Where you manage workflows for that specific contact.

Toggling Workflows On and Off

The Actions tab is where you can control whether automated workflows are running for a contact. This is useful when a lead needs a pause in communications.

Example: If a lead is traveling and not ready to join for another week, you can go to Actions > Workflows and toggle off all active workflows so they are not receiving automated messages during that time.

Opportunities (The Other 4% of Your Time)

The Opportunities section gives you a pipeline view of where your leads and members stand. Spend time here to review:

  • Lead Funnels Where new and active leads are in your sales process.

  • Total Check-Ins An overview of member engagement.

  • At-Risk Members who may be disengaging and need outreach.

  • Gym Happy Member sentiment and review data.

Daily Routine Summary

Here is a simple daily rhythm to follow in Grow:

  1. Open Conversations and clear your Unread tab.

  2. Check your Starred conversations and follow up with your active leads.

  3. Review Recent conversations to stay aware of member engagement.

  4. Head to Opportunities to check your Lead Funnel, At-Risk members, and Gym Happy ratings.

  5. Adjust workflows for any contacts who need a pause or a restart.
