Plans Workflow Folder

This help article will overview all of the workflows within the Plans Folder in Grow.

In PushPress Core, performing an action on a plan can automatically trigger the following workflows.

Plan Activated

How It's Triggered:

  • This workflow is triggered when a new plan is set to "Active" in PushPress Core.

How It Works:

  • Once a plan is activated in PushPress Core, this workflow begins.

  • The first step checks if the contact already exists in Grow:

    • If they exist, they proceed down the left branch, and their contact record is updated.

    • If they do not exist, the system creates the contact and then updates their record.

  • The workflow then branches based on the Contact's "Status" in PushPress Core:

    • Leads proceed down the Lead Pathway.

    • Non-Members follow the Non-Member Pathway.

    • Members proceed down the Member Pathway.

Customization Options

  • This workflow is intentionally left blank, allowing you to customize how you communicate with new leads, members, and non-members.

  • To add messages, click the "+" anywhere in the appropriate branch to insert an email, SMS, or other step.

To update pipeline stages:

  • Locate the "Update Opportunity" steps.

  • Click the step to open the edit window.

  • Adjust the stage to match your facility’s needs.

Plan Paused

How It's Triggered:

  • This workflow is triggered whenever a plan is set to "Pause" status in PushPress Core.

How It Works:

  • After a plan is placed in "Pause" status in PushPress Core, this workflow begins.

  • This workflow is intentionally left blank, allowing you to customize it as needed.

    • To add outbound messaging, click the "+" and insert an email or SMS to notify the contact.

Plan Cancelled

How It's Triggered:

  • This workflow is triggered whenever a plan in PushPress Core is set to "Canceled" status.

How It Works:

  • After the workflow begins, it searches for the contact in Grow.

    • If it exists, it will update the contact fields on the contact.

    • If they do not exist, it will create the new contact and update the fields.

Note:

  • This workflow does not send any outbound communication by default.

  • To add an email or SMS, click the "+" symbol and insert a message anywhere in the sequence.

Plan in Alert

How It's Triggered

This workflow is triggered whenever a plan in PushPress Core enters an "Alert" status. (Example: Failed payment.)

How It Works

  • After the workflow is triggered, it sends an internal staff notification to alert you.

  • Delay Step:

    • A 1-minute delay is added before any updates occur.

    • This prevents the "Plan Active" workflow from firing simultaneously and potentially overriding data from this workflow.

Note:

  • This workflow does not send any outbound communication to the contact by default.

  • To add an email or SMS, click the "+" anywhere in the sequence and insert a message.

Plan Completed

How It's Triggered:

  • This workflow is triggered whenever a plan in PushPress Core is marked as "Completed."

How It Works:

  • Once the workflow begins, it sends an internal notification to staff.

Note:

  • This workflow does not send any outbound communication to the contact by default.

  • To add an email or SMS, click the "+" symbol anywhere in the sequence and insert a message.

  • Example: A 6-month membership has ended and is no longer active.

Plan Pending Cancel

How It's Triggered:

  • This workflow is triggered whenever a plan is "Scheduled" for cancellation in PushPress Core.

  • Example: A contact's plan is marked as pending cancel at the end of the month.

How It Works:

  • This workflow is intentionally left blank, allowing you to customize it as needed.

  • To add outbound messaging, click the "+" and insert an email or SMS to notify the contact.

Plan Pending Active

How It's Triggered:

  • This workflow is triggered whenever a plan is "Scheduled" to become active on a future date in PushPress Core.

  • Example: A contact's plan is marked as pending active at the end of the month.

How It Works:

  • This workflow is intentionally left blank, allowing you to customize it as needed.

  • To add outbound messaging, click the "+" and insert an email or SMS to notify the contact.
